Submitting your ideas

We are always interested in considering new ideas for publication.  In order for us to assess the suitability of your material and to give us an idea of your writing style, it would be helpful if you could tell us:

• Why there is a need in schools for such a product and what its advantages are over materials from other publishers;
• Who the intended audience is (e.g. teachers, pupils, Key Stage 1, Year 3, higher ability, etc.);
• How you see the finished product (e.g. as an interactive CD-ROM, as a photocopiable resource, as a full colour text book, etc.).

Please also enclose

• A current CV
• An outline of the content, which includes:
• a list of chapter/unit titles;
• a summary of each chapter/unit, indicating length (e.g. number of lessons or activity sheets);
• an appropriate sample extract (e.g. a unit, a lesson, a few dictionary entries, a chapter);
• an introduction for the user in which you set out the aims of the material.

We will get in touch with you if we think that we will be able to use your idea, or else we will return any sample material to you.
